WORKSHOPS AT BAYLYS BEACH 2024

Connecting Creatively with our Environment – A One Day Creative Arts Therapy Workshop for Counsellors, Therapists, Social Workers…

This workshop offers us an opportunity to consider how we may respond creatively to our environment’s need for care. There will be time to connect with each other and our concerns for the world around us, as well as creating a piece either individually or in small groups using found objects (which have been prepared earlier!).

We will:
• Reflect and practice ways of taking new creative ideas to the therapeutic space we work within to support clients living with environmental stress/ ‘eco-anxiety’.
• Have time to reflect and offer ourselves self-care towards the end of the year (and have different ways of offering this to our clients)
• Be more prepared to respond to the new NZAC CPD option “Climate Change and Te Taiao”

Join me at beautiful Baylys Beach – come for the day or treat your self to a weekend stay, check out your options on Airbnb, bookabach or Baylys Beach Holiday Park.

Date: Friday 8th November 2024
